Cult of the Living Bull
        This morning, when I awoke, I saw a post from a friend who was having problems working thru bullshit in his life.     I dug thru my old LJ posts, and found what I was looking for, then pointed him to that post.   People who have been reading my LJ for a while may remember it.   I am posting a link here for those who may not be familiar with the Cult of the Living Bull.


        The ritual practice of this cult, although on one level humorous, is a deep cleansing of the accumulated crud which one has allowed into his/her life, and is also a vow to cease allowing more crud to enter again.

        I highly recommend going to a crowded bar or coffehouse with like minded friends and enacting the self-initiation into the Cult of the Living Bull. This could also be a prelude to, a brief interlude in, or a post-ritual climax to a shamanic rite.

        I did a bit of googling later, and found two excellent pieces by Dennis Murphy, the modern founder of the Cult of the Living Bull.  The Cult is probably older than civilization, but Dennis is responsible for manifesting the Cult in this particular Age.

O, fuggin A!

I am so very much going to get a get together together and proceed to get the local erisian contingent and students for an orwellian society and whoever and doing this at the Whole Earth Festival in May. Sending email to the organization uncommittee now.

Or maybe it will ahve to be done at the delta of venus cafe at night during the festival. that whole daylight thing is a bit weird.
