You have incited a cascade of thoughts within me.
Being an Aspie, up until recently I rarely made direct eye contact with anyone, especially sexually attractive women.
Over the decades, many many women seemed to me like they were sexually interested in me, but when I had the nerve enough to begin to inquire further, most all of them denied having any sexual interest.
Which left me confused and perplexed -- not knowing if my observations were in error or the gals were lying to me about their attraction.
Now I am contemplating if my half-profile not looking them in the eyes triggered a response of unconscious interest/attraction in them, but not necessarily a conscious desire.
If this is so, it sure would explain some (if not all) of sexual cue misunderstandings in my past!
