Rhodiola Stuff Is Good Shit!
Back from Unique to pay electric. Mapquest tells me the journey is 0.4 miles each way. It is a trip I make 2 or 3 times a month. So I am used to it & expect no surprises.

       Today there was a surprise.

Whenever possible I eat before I take the journey.  I need strength & calories to make the Journey.  Today I had no time for food.

Usually the round-trip takes close to 3 hours with no stops at Rouses or anywhere else. Stairs are a challenge. The journey to Unique utterly wipes me out. Usually, I sleep for ~12 hour after going to Unique. AND I almost NEVER take the journey the day after a 3 day work week. I just wanna sleep for 12+ hours on the day after my work week.

Today, I took the journey after a 4 day work week.  No day off to sleep. Slept ~9 hours at night, not 12. I dashed out the door with no breakfast first. I did take a double dose of Rhodiola.

The journey went smoothly. I even went shopping at Rouses on the way home. The round-trip journey WITH shopping at Rouses took ~2 hours, instead of 3 hours.

I plan to nap when I am done here, but it will probably be for ~4 hours instead of 12+ hours.

Thank you sheilagh for turning me n to Rhodiola!

you are quite welcome! I am glad for your reports and research, too. They add to the body of knowledge...

I have not yet had time to look into these but they look interesting. The guy claims Rhodiola from Tibet is the best in the world. He sells Rhodiola compounded with other stuff, but not just plain Rhodiola.

I'd want to try it plain, yeah, to be sure it's "the best". not sure what Aisha's source is, she's protective of her trade secret :)

this place sells the Tibeten form, straight up:

Expensive, but not necessarily outrageous, if it is in fact wildcrafted. They'd have to climb mountains to harvest it, much less ship it overseas.

different subspecies, also from Tibet:
(far cheaper, but in very inconvenient powder/root format)
